Add a text watermark to photos in an easy and quick way with these 4 simple steps.
Step 1: Download Mass Watermark
If you want to add a text watermark to your photos, the first thing you need to do is download “Mass Watermark”. This app is available for both Windows and macOS
Once you have the app downloaded, open it up and add the photos you want it to watermark. You can add them individually or add photos in bulk.
You can see the instant preview of the watermark in the right side panel.
Step 2: Select the Font, Size, and Color of your Text Watermark
When it comes to adding text watermarks to photos, the options for font, size, and color are endless. However, there are a few things to keep in mind when selecting the right font, size, and color for your text watermark.
First, the font you select should be easily readable. This is especially important if you plan on using your text watermark on images that will be shared online.
Second, the size of your text watermark should be large enough to be easily seen but not so large that it overpowers the image. A good starting point is to use a font size that is approximately 20% of the width of the image.
Finally, when it comes to color, you want to choose a color that contrasts well with the colors in the image. A good rule of thumb is to use a light color for dark images and a dark color for light images.
Finally, you’ll need to decide on the opacity of your text. If you want your watermark to be barely visible, you can set the opacity to around 50%. However, if you want your watermark to be more noticeable, you can increase the opacity to around 75%. There is a dedicated opacity slider in the above panel which allows you to control the opacity of the text watermark precisely.
Step 3: Choose Your Positioning on the Image
There are a few things to consider when positioning your text watermark on an image. First, you’ll want to decide whether you want your watermark to be visible in the center of the image or off to the side. If you choose to have your watermark in the center, keep in mind that it may be covered up by other elements if the image is shared on social media or used in a blog post.
If you want your watermark to be less noticeable, you can position it towards the edge of the image. However, keep in mind that this may make it more difficult for people to see and read your watermark.
Mass Watermark has inbuilt watermark placement options which allow easy and quick positioning of your watermark. Click on the ‘Choose the text Placement‘ option and select the desired position of your text watermark. You may also manually place the watermark using the manual option.
Step 4: Finally,Click on Watermark Images
Once you have chosen and customized your text watermark, it’s time to apply it to your photo! To do this, simply press the ‘Watermark Images‘ button in the lower centre of the screen. A popup will open asking you to select the desired output location to place your watermarked images. Once you select the output location of your choice, your text watermark will now be applied to your photos! The processed images will be placed in the output location.
